A record of indentured labour , especially in South Africa, and is an important research on the background of black and Indian Labour, focussing on the indentured labour brought to Natal. Included are the Laws, Ordinances , the sanctioning of India for Emigration to Natal, Contract for transport by Ship (Truro and other ships), ships lists of passengers,  pass law, certificate of discharge, poll tax, and many other  sources of information.
