DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A vintage doily (about 50 years old). Beautifully crocheted in white cotton and amber, plight green and clear glass beads. It has a diameter of 20 cm. Useful for covering the sugar bowl or milk jug - or just a lovely item to put on display or frame. This is an very beautiful and dainty doily and the use of 3 different colours of glass beads is quite unusual. The crocheting of this doily is very fine and detailed with the use of many beads which is a very tedious process. It was obviously crafted by somebody who is an expert at this technique. The light green glass beads appear as almost clear in the images and can best be seen by looking at the second image below.
CONDITION	The doily is in excellent condition. Clean and without any loose threads or damage.
