| DESCRIPTION | A vintage doily (about 50 years old). Beautifully crocheted in white cotton and pink glass in the shape of grape bunches on the sides. It has a diameter of 22 cm. Useful for covering the sugar bowl or milk jug - or just a lovely item to put on display or frame. This is an very attractive and heavy doily because of the large number of the big pink beads on the side which are in the shape of bunches of grapes. The colour of the pink beads is a lighter and brighter pink than in the images. The crocheting of this doily is very fine and detailed and was done by somebody who is obviously an expert at this technique. |
