DOMED STERLING SILVER RING WITH PAVÈ-SET SONGEA-MINED YELLOW & ORANGE NATURAL SAPPHIRES

This ring has been crafted out of solid sterling silver and is broadband on the ring head, subtly domed, and features vertical die-cut design elements. The entire domed ring head has been set with a carpet of natural sapphires (mined in Songea) that range from oranges and yellows to gentle greens. I tried to twist the ring into different lights to show just how they vary. The overall impression is more yellow and orange in hue than pink or red. They are individually claw-set into a pavé cluster design. The ring head is 24 x 24 mm and the top of the ring head is 6 mm above the finger. The ring size is 8 (Q in British and SA sizing) and it weighs 11 grams. It is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver. The ring is in excellent condition - no buff marks on the polished silver shank. The sterling silver of the ring head and the spacers in between the sapphires has a darkish patina. Not "white" silver, but definitely sterling!
