Two books. Don Bosco by Lancelot C.  Sheppard. Soft cover. Binding is good and clean inside. First published in 1957 by Burns and Oates with 196 pages..Green front cover with photograph of Don Bosco. Scuffed along the spine with small tear at bottom of spine. Foxing spots on first title page. Typed message concerning the book pasted to front end page. Frontispiece is a photograph of St Bosco, similar to that on the front board. Don Bosco was the founder of the Salesians. Don Bosco's Mother by Marieli & Rita Benziger. Hardcover with dust jacket. Book in good clean, tight condition. Published in 1958 by Salesiana Publishers with 215 pages and b/w photographs. Small inscription on first title page. D/j has minor paper loss at bottom front corner and at top corners. Chaffed at top and bottom of spine. Saint Don Bosco's mother, Margaret, was the driving force behind her son. No shipping overseas.
