How to:
Installation: Push the buttons and rotate the lock arms to the locked position.
Correct Lock Placement: Place the lock behind the door handle. Rotate the arms to the open position and make sure there is clearance for the door handle to operate. Once this is confirmed, trace the placement of the lock with a pencil.
Attaching the Lock: Peel the 3M adhesive.
Placing The Lock: Attach the lock to the door using the pencil markings as guidance.
Activating/Deactivating the Lock: To lock and unlock: Press buttons on top and bottom to rotate handles from locked to unlocked position and vice versa.
Avoid Lockouts:The unique lock design requires pushing the button to put the Door Lever Lock into locked position. This avoids our competition's issues of enabling children to lock adults in bathrooms and other places!
