The DoorCam Door Security Monitor is a revolution in door viewer technology. The large DoorCam peephole is a wide-angle door viewer using advanced optics to project the image outside your door through a prism and onto a viewing lens inside, giving you 132 degrees of visibility. No longer do you need to put your face up against the door to look through a tiny door viewer as the wide view DoorCam is big enough to see through from up to 2 metres away!
The large DoorCam is great for children, the handicapped, short-stature adults, the elderly and the visually impaired.
The wide view door scope's extremely advanced optics allow a full 132 degree panoramic view of the outer side of the door. The conventional door viewer is normally set into the door at around 1.5 metres from floor level. This makes the viewer difficult to use for those who are taller and virtually impossible to use if you are shorter. Unlike a conventional door viewer, you can stand back from the DoorCam, allowing people of different heights to use it.
Viewing is one way only, unlike many standard door viewers. This series of prism's even makes it virtually impossible to tell if there is anyone standing on the inside of the door looking out as the prism's pick up light from the outside as well as the inside.
