China ware manufacturer in Fenton (c.1924-6) and then at the Clarence Works, Longton (c.1926-48), Stoke-on-Trent. The partners were Martha Dale and Harry Meigh. Operating in China Street, Fenton from 1924 and then, from 1926 at High Street, Longton. On 30 December 1933 the partnership between Martha Dale and Harry Meigh was dissolved and Harry Meigh continued with the business. Harry Meigh took Ernest Edwin Spanton Reid as a partner. In 1935 Meigh and Reid entered into an arrangement with their creditors and the business was taken over by Royal Albion China Co. in about 1935 but continued to operate under its own name. In 1948 the owner J. H. Dale sold the assets of both Doric China Co. and Royal Albion China to Jason China Co Ltd. In July 1951 Doric China Co Ltd was wound up. On the 21st June 1954 an application was made to the High Court for the restoration of Doric China Company Ltd. - however the company did not seem to manufacture or trade after 1948.

6 Cups = Good condition, gilt wear on all, 1 is cracked and glued, 1 cup is a Colclough China cup (very slightly different, same pattern) = rim to handle 115mm x rim diameter 90mm x 65mm high.
6 Saucers = Good condition, light gilt wear, 1 has a small chip on the base rim = 143mm diameter x 24mm deep
6 Side / Cake Plates = Good condition, gilt wear, 1 has crazing all round = 175mm diameter x 20mm high.
1 Large Cake Plate = Good condition, has some gilt wear in places = 249mm handle to handle x 25mm high.
