This beautifully crafted piece features an oval-faceted large green amethyst of excellent clarity, cut and hue, claw set on a solid sterling silver base that acts as a decorative frame. The base is covered in raised handcrafted rose detailing which adds to the appeal and interest of the piece. The decoration continues under the piece, with openwork allowing light through the gemstone to maximise sparkle and to accent the faceting. It also bears rose-themed engraving work. The colour is a beautiful soft silvery green. The pendant measures 32mm long (including the bale) x 16mm wide and 8mm deep. This is threaded onto a 44cm sterling silver chain. Both the pendant and the chain bear the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. The piece weighs a solid 10,62 grams, and sits well on the neck.
