This book has been signed by a large number of high-ranking politicians during a function for Natal politician and leader of the United Party Douglas Mitchell at Port Shepstone in 1982. Hand signed by State Presidents B.J. Vorster, Fouche, and Swart ( the first State President ). Also signed by de Villiers Graaff and  a "who's who" variety of Natal and national politicians.  There is also a signed letter from Mitchell tipped in on the title page about a postage stamp just issued.  Additional signature page tipped in and two newspaper articles concerning Mitchell tipped in at the back.  Signed by author and Douglas Mitchell on title page.  For the collector of South African historical autographs, or  "Natalia"  collector.
