Three-part BBC drama based on Bram Stoker's Gothic horror novel. In the 1890s, English lawyer Jonathan Harker (John Heffernan) visits Count Dracula (Claes Bang) at his castle in Transylvania to process his purchase of a property in London. The young lawyer unwittingly becomes the Count's prisoner before escaping and fleeing to a convent where he shares his harrowing ordeal with nun Sister Agatha (Dolly Wells).
Meanwhile, the Count boards a Russian ship bound for London. The episodes are: 'The Rules of the Beast', 'Blood Vessel' and 'The Dark Compass'.
