Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below for PS4 is a hack-and-slash, real-time action RPG that blends the traditional Dragon Quest universe with the large-scale combat mechanics of the Dynasty Warriorsseries. 

Gameplay and Features

• Action RPG Combat: The core gameplay involves controlling a party of four characters in real-time battles against enormous swarms of classic Dragon Quest monsters and gigantic bosses. Unlike the turn-based style of the main series, this game focuses on flashy combos and rapid action.
• Legendary Characters: The game features an ensemble cast of beloved characters from various previous Dragon Quest titles, such as Alena, Bianca, and Yangus, who join the original heroes, Luceus and Aurora. Players can strategically swap between these characters during battle and utilize their unique abilities.
• Monster Medals: A key mechanic involves collecting "monster medals" from defeated foes, which can then be used to summon those same monsters back onto the battlefield as allies or to employ their special skills.
• RPG Elements: Players can level up characters, upgrade their unique spells and abilities via a skill tree, and manage equipment, adding traditional RPG depth to the action-oriented gameplay.
• Presentation: The game is presented in beautiful high-definition graphics on the PS4, maintaining the signature art style of world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama. The music is composed by series veteran Koichi Sugiyama, adding to the authentic Dragon Questatmosphere. 

Plot Summary

The story takes place in the once-peaceful kingdom of Arba, where humans and monsters coexisted in harmony. A dark shockwave suddenly sweeps across the land, causing all the monsters to enter a frenzied rage and turn against humanity. As either the male hero Luceus or the female heroine Aurora, captains of the royal guard, the player must assemble a team of powerful allies to fight back the rampaging hordes and uncover the cause of the mysterious blight to restore order to the kingdom.
