Dragonware Moriage, Blue Geisha Lithophane. - Incomplete Set -

Each piece is hand painted with blue background and is heavily detailed with a moriage dragon wrapping around. Each dragon is covered with raised off-white dots as are all the handles. Each piece trimmed in 'gold'. The base of the teapot, creamer and sugar has black trim with 'gold' verge. A wonderful vintage Japanese tea set in good condition.

Measurements: Teapot 19.5cm (perfect condition) ~ Creamer 15cm (lid damaged & glued) ~ Sugar 15cm (perfect condition) ~ 2x Cups 2cm x 9.5cm (one cracked) ~ 6x Saucers 14cm (start of hairline crack on one) ~ 6x Dessert Plates 17.5cm

Moriage - Japanese raised decoration brushed onto ceramics in the thick mixture of clay and water called 'slip'.
