Early 20th Century Oak Dressing Table by BelWeb Classic Craftsmanship with Timeless Charm
This beautiful oak dressing table dates from the first half of the 20th century and carries the distinguished maker's ivory label "BelWeb", along with the original paper patent, marking its authenticity and heritage.
The upper section features an oval beveled swing mirror held between square-section and barley twist supports, each topped with elegant ball finials. A central scroll-carved panel adds decorative flair, flanked by two charming display shelveseach with a narrow "secret" drawer tucked just below. Beneath, a wider drawer with a traditional drop handle offers practical storage, and the section rests gracefully on flattened bun feet.
The lower half of the dressing table includes a rectangular counter above three central drawers, sitting atop two deeper graduating drawers on either side. All drawers retain their original locks (though keys are not present), and the piece stands on square-section and ovoid legs ending in classic bun feet.
Condition Note: This piece shows signs of age and use, including watermarks, scratches, scuffs, chips, and is missing all key surrounds, which contributes to its authentic vintage appeal and offers an excellent opportunity for restoration or to be enjoyed as-is for its antique character.
A striking and functional piece of craftsmanship that would suit both traditional and eclectic interiors, offering a sense of history and refined utility.
Available now perfect for collectors, restorers, or vintage furniture lovers. Refurbishment can be done on request at an additional costing, and creating your own masterpiece.
