Properties:

• Acts as an antispasmodic, analgesic, carminative, anti-androgenic, anti-fungal, and antioxidant.

Traditional Uses:

• Utilized for alleviating queasiness, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach flu, underactive gall bladder, colds, influenza, stomach ulcers, intestinal spasms, colic, nerve pains, and rheumatism. Effective against nausea, heartburn, fever, migraines, and may prevent vomiting. Promotes bile flow, cleanses the liver, eases travel sickness, and may reduce free testosterone levels without affecting total testosterone and DHEA. Commonly used for indigestion, gas, colic, hiccups, fever, and upper respiratory tract infections.

Directions:

• Prepare an infusion by pouring 1 cup of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons of herb. Let it steep for 10 minutes, then strain and sip slowly.

Safety Precautions:

• Avoid use during pregnancy or lactation. Can decrease milk production in breastfeeding mothers. Not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Consult with a medical practitioner before use.
