Los Angeles-set car chase thriller from Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn. Ryan Gosling stars as Driver, a Hollywood stunt performer who earns extra money working as a getaway driver for jewellery heists and bank robberies. Having become friendly with his neighbour, Irene (Carey Mulligan), and her son, Benecio (Kaden Leos), the Driver agrees to help Irene's husband (Oscar Isaac) escape from a robbery with the funds to pay off a gangland debt.
