Drosera burmannii is found in northern and eastern Australia, India, China, Japan, and south-east Asia. There are various forms that range in size from less than 1 cm to about 3 cm across and depending on variety may be golden green, dark green, green with red tentacles or all red

In nature Drosera Burmannii grows as an annual plant. but in cultivation you can grow them for a number of years if flower stalks are removed. Seeds are sown in springtime and usually sprout with the onset of the rainy season in summer. It requires warm, bright conditions to grow well
