This is the DS1307 real time clock and comes fully assembled. Allow your microcontroller project to keep track of time even if it is reprogrammed or if the power is lost. Perfect for datalogging, clock-building, time stamping, timers and alarms. This module contains a charging circuit and so a rechargable battery must be used. The DS1307 is accessed via the I2C protocol. Battery not included.
