The DSC PowerSeries Neo HS2016 16-Zone Alarm Kit with HS2LED Keypad and Olarm MAX combines three core components for a professionally installed wired alarm system with smartphone connectivity. Built around the expandable HS2016 control panel, the kit includes the panel PCB in a metal enclosure, a 16-zone HS2LED hardwired keypad and an Olarm MAX communicator with the required DSC Neo adapter. The panel starts with six onboard hardwired zones and can be expanded to a total of 16 zones, while the Olarm MAX adds app-based monitoring and control over cellular and Wi-Fi networks. It is a practical foundation for residential and small commercial installations where you want a reliable hardwired alarm platform with room to expand.

- Six hardwired zones ready on the panel. The HS2016 provides six onboard zone inputs for wired detectors, door contacts and other compatible alarm devices, with expansion available up to 16 zones.
- Use the keypad as an additional wiring point. The HS2LED keypad has a configurable P/Z terminal that can be programmed as an additional hardwired zone. A detector or door contact close to the keypad can therefore terminate there instead of requiring its own cable run all the way back to the control panel.
- Control and monitor your alarm from your phone. The included Olarm MAX connects the DSC Neo system to the Olarm App for compatible remote alarm monitoring and control.
- Multiple communication paths. Olarm MAX supports dual-SIM 4G/2G cellular communication together with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, giving the communicator more than one available network path.
- Clear 16-zone LED indication. The HS2LED keypad uses dedicated numbered LEDs for straightforward zone and system-status indication, together with programmable function keys and emergency keys.
- Expandable as your installation grows. The HS2016 supports up to 16 zones, additional hardwired expansion modules, multiple keypads and other compatible PowerSeries Neo modules.
- Wireless can be added when required. PowerG wireless capability is supported by the Neo platform but is not built into this HS2016 panel or the included HS2LED keypad. A compatible HSM2HOST wireless transceiver or RF keypad with built-in transceiver must be added separately before PowerG wireless devices can be enrolled.
- Protected panel installation. The HS2016 PCB is supplied in a metal enclosure rather than as a loose control board, providing the correct housing for a permanent professional installation.
Did You Know?
- The six terminals on the HS2016 are not the limit of the system. The panel supports up to 16 zones in total, so additional hardwired zones can be added using compatible expansion hardware as the installation grows.
- A keypad zone can be particularly useful at an entrance. If a magnetic contact, panic button or other compatible wired device is close to the keypad, the keypad's configurable P/Z terminal can be used as that zone input, potentially saving a separate cable run back to the panel.
- PowerSeries Neo does not automatically mean that every Neo panel contains a wireless receiver. The HS2016 supports DSC PowerG wireless expansion, but a separate wireless transceiver or a compatible RF keypad is required before wireless detectors and remotes can be enrolled.
Compatibility & App Support
The included Olarm MAX is compatible with the DSC PowerSeries Neo HS2016 through the supplied DSC Neo adapter board, which connects to the panel's PC-Link 2 interface. The Olarm MAX supports dual-SIM 4G/2G cellular connectivity and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and works with the Olarm App for compatible alarm monitoring and control. An active Olarm subscription is required for the Olarm MAX to function.
The HS2016 also supports compatible DSC PowerSeries Neo hardwired keypads, zone expanders, output modules and PowerG wireless devices when the appropriate wireless transceiver is installed.
