The DSC PowerSeries Neo 16-Zone Preprogrammed Wired Alarm Kit is a complete entry-level security package for homes, offices and small businesses. Built around the expandable DSC HS2016 control panel, the kit includes a 16-zone LED keypad, two pet-immune PIR motion detectors, door contacts, panic buttons, a siren, transformer and backup battery. The system is supplied preprogrammed to reduce initial configuration time, while still allowing a qualified installer to adapt zone settings and expand the installation where required.

- Complete entry-level alarm package. The kit combines the control panel, keypad, detection devices, audible warning equipment and essential power components needed for a practical wired alarm installation.
- Preprogrammed for easier installation. The main system configuration is prepared before supply, reducing initial programming work while still requiring final installation, testing and site-specific adjustment.
- Supports up to 16 zones. The DSC HS2016 provides six onboard hardwired zones and supports expansion to a total of 16 zones with compatible DSC modules.
- Protects rooms with pet-immune detection. Two LC-200S fully digital PIR detectors provide coverage of up to 15 metres across a 100° field of view, with pet immunity for animals weighing up to 15 kg.
- Monitors doors and emergency points. Two door contacts provide perimeter monitoring, while two panic buttons give users dedicated points from which to trigger an emergency alarm.
- Clear system control. The 16-zone LED keypad displays zone and system status and includes larger keys, five programmable function keys and dedicated fire, medical-emergency and panic functions.
- Continues operating during power failures. The included 7 Ah backup battery supports the alarm system when mains electricity is unavailable, subject to battery condition and the installed system load.
- Ready for future expansion. The modular PowerSeries Neo platform supports compatible hardwired expansion, PowerG wireless devices and optional IP or cellular communication equipment.
Did You Know?
- The included LC-200S motion detectors have built-in 5.6 k end-of-line resistors suited to DSC PowerSeries Neo installations. This can simplify detector wiring and reduce the number of separate resistors required inside each PIR housing.
- Preprogrammed does not mean the alarm is ready to use without installation. A qualified installer must still mount and wire the equipment, allocate the detectors to suitable zones, test every device and adjust the configuration to match the property.
- The HS2016 is a hybrid-capable platform but this entry-level kit does not include a PowerG wireless receiver, internet communicator or cellular communicator. These features require compatible optional equipment.
Compatibility & App Support
The kit is based on the DSC PowerSeries Neo HS2016 platform and works with compatible PowerSeries Neo hardwired keypads, zone expanders, output modules and communication accessories.
PowerG wireless detectors can be added only when a compatible PowerG transceiver or receiver is installed. Alarm.com monitoring and app functionality also require a compatible Alarm.com communicator, an active service plan and configuration by an approved service provider.
No wireless receiver, IP communicator, cellular communicator, app subscription or armed-response service is included with this kit.
