The DStv HD Decoder is our newest single view decoder model.
It replaces the DSD 3U, which will no longer be manufactured.
What's different?
The DStv HD Decoder is HD capable, Dolby Digital 5.1 capable, and comes with a brand new user interface (all the screens and menus that you use when watching TV).It also has great new search features (ensuring our customers will always have something to watch) an updated TV Guide and more. It also boasts a new remote.
The DStv HD Decoder is packaged with a B5 remote (and batteries) and is also compatible with the DStv A5 and A6 remotes (packaged with the DStv Explora.)
XtraView capable and can be linked to a single view decoder(another DStv HD Decoder, 1110, 1131 or 1132), any of the DStv HD PVR's,or the DStv Explora. The DStv HD Decoder cannot be linked with the SD PVR in XtraView.
DStv recommends the use of an 80cm dish for all installations.A single LNB is required to connect to this decoder. However, if it is linked to another decoder using XtraView, the use of a quad LNB is recommended.

PLEASE NOTE:
1) We strongly recommend the use of a active splitter for installations to 3 or more televisions due to the potential DC and signal loss. This is not included in the promotion price!
2) Due to the enormous amount of time our technicians are spending to pull cables through conduit, effective immediately we will reserve the right to charge an additional R450 to install additional points on different levels, through conduit i.e. on a 2nd floor.
3) Payment needs to reflect in ur bank account prior to installation. Even if we receive proof of payment, we will not install a HD unless the funds have cleared!! Let's do it right the first time to avoid disappointment.
