Here we have two books from the old D&D Gazetteer - Dawn of the Emperors, which was originally issued as a box set. D&D Gazetteers detailed the D&D Known World (Mystara) with a number being published, each detailing a specific region. This auction is for the following two books ONLY. In other words this is no longer a complete set:

Book 2 - Players Guide to Thyatis

Book 3 - Players Guide to Alphatia

D&D Basic was THE RPG back in the 1980's. Yes the more hard core guys were into AD&D but for many D&D Basic and Expert sets were where it all begun.

Great addition to your collection, or just to read through as a blast from the past, or even to play if you never got round to it back in the day. Maybe your kids want to know what dad or mom did in their school or varsity holidays or free time, break out your old rules and take them through a walk down memory lane.

For the completist, somewhere out there someone may well have book 1 and/or the box and/or maps....
