Durachem Epoxy for cement floors - 5L

Durachem Epoxy is abrasion resistant high performance interior floor paint for use in factories, warehouses, workshops, schools, laboratories, garages and hospitals, which require frequent cleaning with solvents, detergents or alkaline cleaners. It provides high gloss and resistance to all forms of corrosion resulting from chemicals, solvents, fats and oils.

Spreading rate: 8 to 12 square metre per Litre, depending on surface porosity

For application to new and old cement floors. It can be applied on most surfaces including cement, concrete, metal and tiles.

Ensure that the surface is properly dry and in sound condition, free from dust, grease, oil, algae, fungus or any loose particles before painting.

Unpainted cement:

• For best results on smooth unpainted cement floors, flood with a dilute solution of Pool Acid (1 part hydrochloric acid to 5 parts water) and allow soaking for 2 to 3 hours.
• Wash the floor with plenty of water to remove excess acid.
• Wash the floor with the following mix to remove acid. Mix 2 Litres FAST GREASE BUSTER with 15 Litres water.) Wash with clean water to remove all residues. (Do this twice).
• Allow to dry completely.

Previously painted surfaces: 

• Previously painted floors must be abraded with sandpaper. 
  
• For best results remove all old paint
