First Edition, First Printing. Signed Copy. Condition: Good / DJ Good.

Boards crisp and clean, light foxing on the edges of head and foot. Tiny ding to top edge of front panel. Superficial indentation on rear panel. Corners sharp. Very light foxing to edges of text block. Tiny dark stain to fore edge. A few isolated light spots of foxing on front endpapers. Inscribed by author on title page. A small piece torn from edge of p.23. Very light abrasive marks and very light foxing on following two pages. Crease across top corners pp.177-197. Aside from these defects the text block is crisp and clean. Binding is tight, text complete, no missing or loose pages. Jacket shelf rubbed, price clipped; edge and top corner of front flap creased. Light foxing on inside. Light edgewear and a 4cm closed tear into spine hinge of rear panel.
