The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Tactical Battlevest is present and detailed. Item remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. All straps, buckles , adjustable tabs and press Studs appear to be present. Central Zipper closure system remains complete & functional. Parts are delicate due to general age.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, Early  1990s SA Security Forces Regional 'Reaction Unit' Tactical Battlevest. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with all Ammunition and accessories Pouches appearing present.  Velcro tabs, fasteners and press Studs  are present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Mesh vest will appear worn in places of contact usage. Zipper fastener is complete and functional. NOTE:  Piece will be delicate and it is advised not to excessively handle unnecessarily.  The vest can be adjusted by means of adjustable clip mechanisms on either side. 

This Battlevest was intended for use with the R5 Rifle series and associated accessories. A multitude of Pouches appear throughout- including a chest Holster for the Z88 / Beretta 92 Pistol. 

The ideal addition to any SA Security Forces Early  1990s Era kit collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
