An EXCELLENT example of a RARE , 1897 Queen Victoria 'Diamond Jubilee' .925 Silver Medal Device. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Toning visible. 

This Medal Device/ bar- would have been worn on the Ribbon of the Silver Jubilee Commemorative Medal by Military & Police personnel ; who had been present at both events.
