Early 20th Century 'APEX' Blow Torch.

An absolutely fascinating vintage blow torch dating from the early 20th Century.
The trade name 'APEX' is imprinted onto the side.
It is probably Swedish in origin , made of a 'brass plated metal', possibly galvanised steel, and would have used paraffin or gasoline as the fuel for soldering.
It is unknown if it is working order, but it most probably does, as these vintage tools were built to stand the test of time.
The initials of a previous owner 'J.N.S' are etched into the side and underneath.
It is in good condition. The pump action lever moves smoothly.
There is some age and use related discolouration to the metal and the red enamel is flaking in places on the handle.
