Early Brass 'Peacock' Ashtray

This lovely and heavy, vintage solid brass cast ashtray from the 1950/60's features a peacock in super detail with a decorative patterned border. The dish is in excellent condition with a lovely, polished patina and is stamped 'DEPOSE DL No.21' on the back. If not used as an ashtray, it would make an ideal trinket dish. It measures 16cm x 14cm, stands 2cn high and weighs 335g.
