Early Copeland Spode 'Bird' Saucer (Y6682) 

This lovely, early 'Copeland Spode' porcelain saucer is beautifully decorated with a 'life-like' bird, a 'Chestnut-Sided Warbler' in its authentic colours, perched on a branch amongst leaves and flowers against a green turquoise background, with gold trim to the scalloped edge. The saucer is in excellent condition, with no wear to the gilding, and carries the 'Spode' backstamp in green, the birds name in brown, and a painted number 'Y6682' in red. The saucer has a diameter of 14,4cm.
