Early Leather Police 'Bucheimer' Blackjack/SAP

This vintage, leather 'Bucheimer Junior' police 'sap, slapper, or blackjack' is in great condition and probably dates to the 1950/60's. It measures 21cm x 5,5cm x 2cm, weighs 290g and is stamped by the makers 'BUCHEIMER - JUNIOR'.

Note: A 'blackjack' is a small, handheld weapon that is used for self-defence, and is sometimes referred to as a 'slapjack' or a 'sap'. It normally consists of a heavy metal (lead), enclosed in a leather pouch or case, and can deliver a powerful blow.
