Early SADF holster, gaiters (puttees) and duffle bag for 1 bid. I would date these SADF canvas equipment items to the early 1960s. The lot consists of:
- A pistol holster with magazine pouch. I would think that these would have been issued to officers. It is in fair used condition - clips and latches are intact, but is some wear.
- A pair of army gaiters (puttees). The gaiters each have 3 straps by which they would be fastened. They are in fair condition - belts and buckles are intact, but they would need a clean.
- An early half size duffle bag (balsak). It was "Made & Supplied by National Tents & Sails Pty Ltd, Pretoria". The duffle bag has a couple of holes, but is otherwise in fair condition.
Great buy for the collector.
