Early Silver Gilt and Enamel 'Sons of England' Medal

This is a heavy, very well-made sterling silver Sons of England medal. It consists of a large red enamel cross with the entwined letters SOE in the centre. The inscription on the back reads PRESENTED TO WOR. BRO. C.H. LAWRENCE BY GLAMORGAN LODGE 1983. The medal is stamped SILVER. Excluding some minor damage to the enamel it is in excellent condition. It measures 10cm x 4.5cm and weighs 23.4g.
