Early Sterling Silver Bangle (Chester 1938)
This early, English hallmarked, sterling silver hinged bangle has lovely hand engraved floral detail along the front with a plain back. It was made in 1938 in Chester, England by silversmiths 'Joseph Smith & Sons' (JS), but sadly, it has several soft dents along the sides, otherwise it's a nice piece with a strong hinge and a secure, push in clasp that clips shut. It is also fitted with small rings on either side of the clasp, meant for a safety chain if needed. The bangle is oval measuring 6,5cm x 5,7cm, with a width of 1cm and weighs 17,6g.
