Early Sterling Silver Cruet Set
This elegant, sterling silver cruet set consists of a pair of silver salt dishes as well as a lidded mustard pot and spoon. All three have their original blue glass, shaped liners and all sit on four small ball feet. The salts are hallmarked for Birmingham 1922 and the mustard pot is hallmarked for Chester 1922. All three pieces are manufactured by the same silversmith (C&S) which stands for Clark & Sewell, who were registered in Chester but also worked from Birmingham. The silver spoon has been added to the set and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901. All three pieces are in perfect condition. The salts measure 6cm x 4.5cm and the mustard pot measures 8.5cm x 5cm.
