The piece is in an GOOD/ FAIR ,  USED CCONDITION-Coin Graphic Design Relief is present and details are present on obverse and reverse with a good degree of clarity . Planchet remains in a Good State and has been circulated/ utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. High relief detailing is largely complete and Greek nomenclature is visible. Coin retains good edging on Planchet and a small amount of surface toning may be noted. This piece is almost 2000 years old & will display surface wear commensurate with age. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a Eastern Roman Empire- Valerianus I Nicaea 3rd Century AD Bronze Coin. This piece appears to be in a Fair to Good state of preservation , with details of Graphic Relief on appearing with clarity on  obverse and displaying some degree of wear on reverse. All Greek nomenclature present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Planchet will display toning- as Coin was obtained from excavation. Item has been subject to longterm handling. 

This piece would have been issued for circulation- after the division of the Roman Empire into a Western & Eastern portion. The Coin was minted under the Byzantine Emperor - Valerianus I Nicaea ( Valerian) in Bronze within the city of  Constantinople , modern-day  Turkey. 

The ideal addition to any Eastern Roman / Byzantine Era  Bronze Coin collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
