This book deals mainly with the illegal ivory and teak trade from South-Eastern Angola that was conducted to finance UNITA, and condoned by the South African military and nature conservation officials. Jan Breytenbach was a senior SADF officer (who led the attack on Kassinge - which he tries to justify in the book), and later a nature conservation official in Namibia who unsuccessfully attempted to stop this trade.

1997. First edition. Hardcover with dust cover, 259 pages. Rusting in front and back. Tightly bound. Neat and clean inside.
