1. Software for Toddlers
- Drawing
This is similar to the Windows Paint program except it’s a lot easier to use and it has more features. This program is for children ages 18 months and upwards. A fun program to create their own pictures. It also teaches children the use of a computer mouse.
- Magic Paperslate
This program is easy to use and the child will choose different pictures, shapes etc. that they can colour in. It teaches them the use of the computer mouse and provides hours of fun for the small ones.
- Keyboard Pouncer
This program has a selection of 2 options. They can either choose the animated fish pond or flower collection and a black screen appears. Every time there’s a click with the mouse the fish or flowers appear on the screen like fireworks and then disappear again until they click again. The toddlers love this!
- Lights and Snow
In this program lights and snow can be added to a picture. It teaches children the use of the computer mouse by adding snow and colorful lights to pictures. Ready made pictures are available or you can use your own picture. Great fun for the kids!
2. Software for Grade 1 – 12
- Sebran (Change language setting)
Sebran is for children grade 1 - 7. This is an excellent program to teach scholars how to: add, subtract, multiply, divide and spell. It also has fun games (Hangman, Memory game etc.) to teach children and parents are welcome to join in the fun! SEBRAN has a language setting and you can change it to any language. In the Hangman game new words can be created and added to be suitable for your kids.
- Funny Bones
Funny Bones is for children grade 1 - 7. This is an excellent program to teach scholars the skeleton and they can build a skeleton of a human and dinosaurs in a fun way. It teaches them why bones are important and what each bone is called.
- Self Test (Add own questions)
Self Test is for children grade 1 - 12. This is an excellent program to help children to study. They compile their own tests (grades 1 - 3 will need assistance from parents) for each subject and simply run the program to test themselves. Printable reports are available to parents to monitor the child's progress. The most effective method to use the program is to do each day's homework on the program and test knowledge on a daily basis. If used continuously, the scholar has no more need to study from the textbooks in preparation for tests /exams and will guarantee a super pass rate! Although it is programmed in English, any language can be utilized to set up tests.
- Typespeed
Type Speed is for children grade 7 - 12. This is an excellent program to teach scholars how to improve their typing speed. This program shows the scholar which finger to use to type the letter. Tests can be done from built in examples or you can create your own test in any language. Comes with full report on progress and is printable.
