DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	Bids are invited for the small Edwardian brass vase and flat bowl you see in the image above. The 2 items are sold together in one lot.The bowl has a cast body with applied rim and foot of plate metal and the bowl is shaped from plate metal. Both are engraved (the vase with a beautiful serpent design which stretches around the body and the bowl also with 2 serpents along the inner rim). The vase stands 10 cm tall and the bowl has a diameter of 15.5 cm. Both are solid and heavy and the 2 together weigh 664 g. There are four more images and further particulars below. Please refer to the images as further describing the items and ask a question if there is anything you are unsure about.
CONDITION	The items are generally in good condition with the engraving still nicely unworn. NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT THE BOWL IS SPLITTING ALONG THE LINE WHERE THE 2 CAST SECTIONS ARE SOLDERED TOGETHER. THIS CAN BE SEEN IN AN IMAGE BELOW.

NOTES
Two lovely pieces of antique Chinese brass for the collector and the display cabinet..

The vase from the side. It has an applied foot and engraved serpent engraved on the body. The word CHINA appears on the bottom.

The vase is splitting along the line where the two cast sections are soldered together. This is indicated by the red arrows in the image.
