Egyptian Vertical Lizard Camouflage shirt

Very rare Egyptian Vertical Lizard Camouflage shirt.

This type of camouflage was worn by Rhodesan insurgent groups in the 1970's and then later by SWAPO's PLAN units in the early 1980's. The South African Special Forces occasionaly used a locally manufactured copy of this type of camo on operations, but this is an original Egyption / UAR manufactured item, still with its original UAR label sewn in place.

Shirt is still in good condition, considering that it was worn by a non conventional combatant who lived rough when operational. Some buttons are missing and there are some small tears that can be expected from a piece of clothing worn in a battle zone. The original user has sewn a small pocket onto the upper left hand sleeve.

It is 59cm across the chest from armpit to armpit.
