E. F, Sandeman, an English traveller-writer in the Victorian tradition, traversed the South African provinces of Natal, Orange Free State and Transvaal and produced an intriguing panorama of travelogue, anecdote and incident. This edition is a facsimile reprint of the original 1880 edition.

Copy in excellent condition. Clear, clean pages within pristine pictorial green boards, attractively lettered in black and gold. Dust jacket in very good condition, with very minor scuffing and small edge tears.
