Eight Vintage Pedro Duran - Spanish Bullfighting Corrida De Toros Silver Place Card Holders

A collection of eight vintage hallmark silver miniature place card holders made by Pedro Durán possibly 1940/50s.

The lot depicts a Spanish bullfight and riders on horses.  Marked on the side of the bases with a Spanish Hallmark, the star, urn and 925 silver and the makers signature. 

It was quite a surprise after some research to find out that these small miniatures (each 3.5 cm wide) are in actual fact to be used as place card holders.

All eight are in still in excellent condition apart from that is needed is a good polish.

I started cleaning one of the holders but thought its best left to masters of cleaning silver.

The intricate and amazing details are fine and delicate and I was afraid I might damage these unique pieces of silver.
