About this object

Trouser press; an electric hand-held trouser press, made by Pifco. The press works by heating the plates and moving them across the sandwiched garment.

Pifco originally called Provincial Incandescent Fittings Co. Ltd, formed in 1900, Manchester, England and is still going today.
