ELEGANT RASPBERRY RUBY AND BLACK SPINEL GEMSTONE STERLING SILVER FILIGREÉ PENDANT. 925

This elegant piece is beautifully crafted in sterling silver, featuring a central oval-faceted natural ruby, set on extended claws above a filigree frame which is bordered by a solid, lightly scalloped border that bears a row of small, claw set, round-cut black natural spinel gemstones. The pendant measures 24mm long x 15mm wide, and is softly domed, the central gemstone raised significantly above the frame. The piece weighs 3,7 grams together, and bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. A very elegant piece, reminiscent of the Baroque pendants of old.  The chain is 40mm and is itself interesting in design, being crafted out of a series of elongated sterling silver beads that are faceted to catch the light. The chain is also hallmarked 925 for sterling silver and in addition, bears the hallmark for Italian origin as well as the jeweller's signature.
