ELEGANT SILVER PLATED TEAPOT CIRCA 1950

Very striking and elegant design.

It is 31 cm from handle to spout and 13 cm wide. It stands 14 cm high.

It is only stamped EPNS A1 indicating it was the best quality plating undertaken.

I believe it is Georgian and it is really a very nice-looking piece.

There is a small ding or two on the body and unfortunately the original owner used harsh cleaning aids
to try and maintain its splendour. The result is that you have a fine design with a somewhat tarnished finish.

There is no dent to the lid although you might get that impression when you look at the pictures.
It was just the way the light fell on the teapot when I took the pictures.

I consider this to be a very nice piece and very collectible because the design is outstanding.
