AN ELEGANT VINTAGE FIREPLACE FIREWOOD LOG HOLDER FROM THE 1970'S. MADE FROM BRASS WITH FOUR LION'S PAW FEET. IT HAS A DECORATIVE HINGED BRASS SWING HANDLE. IT IS CLEARLY HANDMADE AS CAN BE SEEN BY THE RIVETS HAMMERED INTO THE HANDLE TO FIT THE BODY.
IT WILL LOOK LOVELY BY THE SIDE OF YOUR FIREPLACE THIS AUTUMN AND WINTER AND IN SPRING AND SUMMER IT CAN BE FILLED WITH DRIED FLOWERS FOR A COUNTRY STYLE DISPLAY. THE PIECE BEARS THE RESEMBLANCE OF OTHER LOG HOLDERS MADE BY AN INDIAN COMPANY CALLED RAMA.
