HOOP EARRINGS. 375. ENGLISH VINTAGE BIRMINGHAM ASSAY
This vintage gold and diamond pair of earrings features a 12mm long x 4mm thick hoop design in 9ct yellow gold. Polished yellow gold borders frame a diamond-studded area that starts narrow at the top where the post goes through the ear, broadening towards the back, where the hoop curves upwards sharply. There are 26 round cut claw set diamonds in total, set between raised beads of 9ct white gold to add to the effect. Bearing the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold, the marks for British origin gold and the Birmingham assay. Refined and understated. Not huge (12 mm x 4mm) but rather elegant.
