ELEGANT DIAMOND 9CT YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD BROAD BAND RING. 375. JEWELLER VALUATION R6'610. 

This elegant piece features 18 x 0.01ct brilliant cut diamonds claw set in 9ct white gold in a cluster across the 17mm wide x 6mm long ring head. The broad band shank is 9ct yellow gold, narrow under the finger, highly polished until it meets the diamonds stretching down the shoulders. There are 18 diamonds set into the ring head but the jeweller has cleverly created a raised tactile design in between the diamonds to extend the sense of a paved spread. The ring is vintage English and in good condition, with only some light buff marks to speak of its age. The ring is well hallmarked showing the jeweller's signature, the Sheffield Assay mark, and 375 indicating 9ct gold. It is not big and blingy - the diamonds are quite small - but its low-key elegant design would make a lovely easy to wear wedding ring. It would also work well as a stacking ring with other gold bands but is definitely big enough at 17 mm wide to be worn solo. The ring has been authenticated and evaluated by an independent jeweller at R6'610, and a certificate to that effect will accompany the piece.
