OVAL PENDANT ON 9CT YELLOW GOLD BOX CHAIN  

This beautifully crafted piece features a large 4 carat lilac oval-faceted amethyst claw set in 9ct yellow gold. A double-layer cage like gold openwork structure holds the amethyst in such a way that the beautiful faceting work and the depth of the stone is shown off. The top of the pendant is set with a cleverly designed pelmet of 9ct white gold into which 3 x round faceted claw set diamonds have been set. Sitting above that is a smaller plain polished yellow gold pelmet with a loop, through which the bale threads, in order to hold the 46cm long 9ct yellow gold box chain. The pendant measures 22mm long x 9mm wide x 7mm thick, and weighs 2,83 grams. Both the pendant and the chain bears the hallmarks 9K and 375 indicating 9ct gold. A classy, simple piece.
