Limited Edition 1983 offset lithograph print featuring the Knysna Elephant. Only 950 of these limited edition litho prints (530 mm in height x 740 mm in width) were produced and signed by the artist. This particular one was published by The South African Masters Foundation in co-operation with the Endangered Wildlife Trust and numbered 628/950.

Dino Paravano - born in Rome, Italy, in 1935, immigrated with his family to South Africa in 1947 at age 12. Art has always been an intrinsic part of Dinos life - he started painting at an early age, tutored and encouraged by his amateur-artist father; recipient of Diploma from the Institute of Fine Arts, Rome. To further his studies Dino attended the Johannesburg College of Art, traveled to Europe on study tours, but in essence he is mainly self-taught. In 1964 Dino married Kiki, an Italian expatriate. They have a daughter and a son. Having reached his peak in South Africa, Dino wanted to expand his horizons and traveled often to the US, as well as many countries around the world.  Subsequently Dino received international recognition. In 1992 Dino and Kiki emigrated from South Africa to the US. They live in Tucson, Arizona.

The print will be mailed in a tube to protect it.
