Elinchrom’s Style FX is a range of professional studio monoheads that work with the full range of elinchrom umbrellas, softboxes and other accessories to achieve creative lighting and professional looking portraits. Suitable for home studios or professional use. A monohead has the power unit enclosed with the flash tube in the head and is less bulky than a pack head). This kit includes 2 flash heads, lightstands, a small softbox, a reflector and the cases and bags you need to carry them in.

In terms of power, the 400 w/s available in each head is enough to shoot at f64, setting your camera to 1/250 sec, 100ISO, with the light 1m away from your subject, so it's powerful enough for even large groups. Recycling times are fast, with the flash able to fire continuously at full power every 1.2 seconds or every 0.3 seconds at the lowest power setting. Elinchrom quality ensures that your pictures are colour temperature consistent throughout the power range and as a fan cooled unit, you can operate the light continuously for long periods of time without overheating. Exposure is adjustable in 1/10th stops across a five stop range and  you can vary the settings of the modelling lamp and select which lights will slave or not.
